This work started off as part of a site-specific installation for an exhibition regarding the nature of real estate development in Bangkok.
The work consists of one square metre of soil that has been taken from an empty lot in a prime residential area of the city, which also was once the location of a school that I attended as a child.
For the one star press edition book, I photographed the soil and divided the images into pages that fit one square metre.
